A spec on another spec

In such a great big world it's truly easy for one to feel
insignificant.
amongst all these stars, it's hard not to doubt whether your light is strong enough to shine through. 
With all this noise how well will your footsteps be heard?
Amongst all these colors can you help from blending in?
Can you help from not being seen?
I don't want to be insignificant. 
Like a speck of dust floating in the desert.
I want to feel important. 
Leave my mark on this world. 
So my memory will forever be treasured.
