I have a dream that one day we will not be scared of our own mother's name.
That we will no longer carry it with pain nor shame.
That Every time the world hears Haiti it will be filled with fear,
and we will march with pride.
That once again we will break the shackles at our feet
Just like we did in 1804.
That our children will grow educated,
and our mentality will no longer be poor.
That we will no longer seek refuge elsewhere,
because our land will provide welfare.
That we will once again be the force leading others,
not the stepping stone that other countries to take advantage of.
But that is all it will be, just a dream,
If we do not stop tearing each other down
and put our focus towards the oppression.
Stop the demolition, stop the rape,
stop the violence, stop the hate,
One members progress,
is one step closer to an end to our nation's distress.
Let us not forget what is written on our flag
Let us enforce
That "L'union Fait La Force".
